Route Aviation website is a part and belongs to Aviation Brothers Ltd.
The current Terms and Conditions are consistent with the requirements of the Law on Consumer Protection as well as the other regulations acting in the Republic of Bulgaria. Route Aviation on-line training is a service provided by Aviation Brothers Limited that offers online training courses via Route Aviation website located at www.routeaviation.com, subject to your compliance with all the terms, conditions and notices contained or referenced herein. In addition, when subscribing to certain services from the Route Aviation website, users (clients) will be subject to additional rules applicable to such services.
Aviation Brothers Limited reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. By using, or continuing to use, the Route Aviation website or its associated materials, you agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
Part 1: DEFINITIONS
Within the framework of these present terms and conditions as well as on the Route Aviation website, the following words are defined as follows:
- «We, us or our»: refers to Aviation Brothers Ltd., the owner of this website;
- «Website»: means www.routeaviation.com;
- «User, You or your»: means the person accessing or using the Website (www.routeaviation.com) or its content;
- «Content»: means any text, images, video, audio or other multimedia content, software or other information or material submitted to or on the Website;
Part 2: REGISTRATION
You are required to provide part or all of the following information below, depending on the features or services you wish to access:
– First and last name
– Email address, residence address
– Company name (if applicable), with related address and country
– VAT (If applicable)
We reserve the right to reject any registration request at its sole discretion.
Each Account is personal and non-transferable. Your rights and obligations to Aviation Brothers Ltd. are also non-transferable. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under this Account and any other actions taken in connection with this Account. You must immediately notify us at info@routeaviation.com regarding any unauthorized uses of your Account or any other breaches of security. We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions. Aviation Brothers Limited reserves the unlimited right to terminate any account (registered user) and deny its access to the Website and Website services without any compensations upon prior notice to the registered user.
In case of a forgotten password, the user must send a message to Website administration for password update in the Website authorization window, clicking the link “Forgot password?” and entering valid and already registered email address. The user will receive an email with a link to a website page containing a form for entering a new password.
Part 3: PRIVACY POLICY
All information we collect on the Website is subject to our PRIVACY POLICY. By using the Website, you consent to all actions taken by us with respect to your information in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Aviation Brothers Ltd. is the data controller this means Aviation Brothers Ltd. decides how your personal data is processed and for what purpose.
We will only e-mail you with your consent. This consent is obtained either by you initiating contact through an Information request or by registering your details with us on initial contact, we will always give you the opportunity to unsubscribe from receiving marketing from us at any time.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. complies with our obligations under the GDPR by:
- Taking steps to ensure personal data is up to date;
- Storing it securely, and destroying it when necessary;
- Taking steps to ensure we do not collect or keep more personal data than necessary;
- Taking technical and practical steps to protect personal data, so that it is kept secure and is not lost or inadvertently/unlawfully disclosed or accessed;
- Taking steps to ensure that you are aware of what we do with personal data; and
- Giving you the opportunity to change how, what or whether we hold personal data about you (subject to the terms of this privacy notice).
WHAT WE COLLECT
We may collect the following information about you:
- personal and contact details (e.g. your name, email address, date of birth, gender and job title
- personal and contact details you give us when subscribing to receive emails, newsletters or marketing information from us
- during the recruitment process we will request details from you including, your name, your work history, qualifications, contact details (such as email, telephone number and home address), your work permits, security clearances and any personal assignment preferences or requirements specific to particular requests or services
- details of your education, employment history, references and other information provided by you about yourself (e.g. the information contained within your CV)
- data we collect via cookies or similar technology stored on your device (find out more about cookies below)
- additional information which you provide voluntarily and/or which we may ask from you to better understand you and your needs, as well as specific information requested by potential employers
- bank details or other payment details
- email correspondence
Special category data:
- We may request Special category data or Sensitive Personal Data about you (including details of your physical or mental health and/or other Sensitive Personal Data that you may choose to provide to us voluntarily from time to time
Criminal offense data:
- We will also ask you to provide us with a Criminal records certificate
Certain personal data categories, such as race, ethnicity, religion, health, sexual orientation and biometric data, fall into a special data category and require additional protection under the EU data protection laws, the same goes for records of criminal offences and are known as “sensitive personal data”.
We always try to limit the circumstances in which we collect and process sensitive personal data.
How personal information is collected, held and processed (including transferred) depends upon the type of information we hold – that is, who provided it, and why it is needed.
- Personal Data about individuals applying for roles (“Candidate Information”);
- Personal Data about individuals who have carried out services for Aviation Brothers Ltd. (“Contractor Information”);
- Personal Data about individuals who work for clients or suppliers (“Client Information”);
- Personal Data about individuals applying to participate on an on-line training course and/or those who participate on an on-line training course (“Student Information”);

If you find any inaccuracies we will correct it promptly.
WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER
We process your Personal Data on the lawful basis that it is necessary to perform the contract with you and to provide the services agreed upon, whether by contract or in pre-contractual negotiations (emails, phone calls, etc.). We also process your data on the lawful basis of legitimate interests and with the purpose of determining your qualifications and suitability and matching you with clients/work assignments.
Special category data is collected and processed on the lawful basis of contractual and legitimate interests and on the conditions specified in the GDPR, Article 9, §2 (b).
Criminal offence data is collected and processed on the lawful basis of contractual and legitimate interests and on the conditions specified in the GDPR, Article 6, §1 & Article 10.
When you register/apply for work with us, we will share some of your personal details including your name, work history and qualifications, with our clients offering potential jobs which might be suitable for you.
When you are offered and accept a work assignment through us, we will provide the client with all your relevant data in order to fulfil our contractual obligations to both you and our client. This can include Special category and Criminal offense data, if required.
We may use your personal data such as timesheets, work hours and pay rate for payroll and reporting purposes. In addition, we may need to manage submission of timesheets, payroll services and other HR related services, such as job performance assessment and client satisfaction surveys.
By actively signing up for our newsletter and providing your email address, you consent to receiving news, job offers and other information from us. If at any time you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can withdraw your consent by unsubscribing.

Transfers of Candidate Information
Aviation Brothers Ltd. uses most information for its internal purposes only – that is, to check suitability of a Candidate for actual and potential roles with Clients.
If a candidate is considered suitable for a potential role Aviation Brothers Ltd. may transfer their personal information to the potential client.
This will ONLY be done, if a Candidate has agreed to be put forward for the role (in accordance with the “consent” basis of the GDPR
Aviation Brothers Ltd. may also transfer Candidate information to the following entities for the following specific purposes, which are also lawful under Article 6 of the GDPR):
1) to a payroll company, in order to facilitate payment to the Candidate if they become a Contractor (see Contractor Information below) (in accordance with the “contract” basis for processing data under the GDPR.
2) to the police, court or regulatory bodies (in accordance with the “legal requirement” basis for processing data under the GDPR. Please note, for individuals applying to carry out work for roles which require particular security clearance, this will also include sharing information with nominated or responsible regulatory/supervisory entity in order to comply with the applicable rules.
3) to third party “app” or other online software provider(s) which facilitate the communication and/or provision of electronic contract information to Candidates and Clients on behalf of Aviation Brothers Ltd. Where such providers are used Aviation Brothers Ltd. contractually obliges these third parties to:
- treat all data securely;
- process them in accordance with the GDPR (or the EU’s approved standard model contracts or other approved basis, if the provider is outside of the EU);
- use the data only in relation to Aviation Brothers Ltd., and not sell or transfer personal information to any third parties.
Contractor Information
Aviation Brothers Ltd. may hold the following information about Contractors
Their relevant Candidate Information, being:
- Personal identification (passport, driving licence, work permit)
- Contact details (address, telephone numbers and email)
- Work history (including references)
- Details of qualifications and experience
- Medical records*
- Criminal record*
*These will be obtained only where it is relevant in regards to a particular role for example security and background checks for an individual to be able to work at an airport. You will always be contacted and informed in advance if these checks have been requested by a client. This information will be held securely by Aviation Brothers Ltd. and will only be transferred to the client that has requested the information.
Details of work on assignments, including:
- Pay
- Hours worked
- Performance record
- Disciplinary record
- Absenteeism
How we obtain Contractor Information
- It may have been gathered as part of Candidate Information
- Client or other line manager reports
- Client’s HR departments
- The Contractor’s payroll, umbrella, or service company
- Public bodies (such as regulatory or industry bodies, health professionals or the police)
This information is held for the following purposes:
- to consider the Contractor’s suitability in their current role
- to consider the Contractor for alternative current or future roles
- to comply with regulatory/industry requirements
Transfers of Contractor Information
Aviation Brothers Ltd. uses most information for its internal purposes only – that is, to check suitability of a Contractor in their current role, and for any alternative actual and potential roles with Clients.
If a Contractor wishes to be considered for alternative roles, they will become a Candidate in respect of that role – in such cases the processing is dealt with in the Candidate Information section.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. may also transfer Contractor Information to the following entities for the following specific purposes, which are also lawful under Article 6 of the GDPR):
- to the Candidate’s payroll, umbrella or service company, in order to facilitate payment to the Contractor or to deal with any contractual issues with the Contractor (in accordance with the “contract” basis for processing data under the GDPR)
- where applicable, to the supplier of benefits to the Contractor, such as a pensions provider, if the Contractor falls within the provision of Aviation Brothers Ltd. pension scheme (in accordance with the “legitimate interest” basis for lawful processing under the GDPR);
- to third parties if T Aviation Brothers Ltd. has been nominated by the Contractor as a referee (as listing Aviation Brothers Ltd. as a referee inherently is a matter determined by the Contractor themselves, as such this would be under the lawful basis of “consent” under the GDPR), or where Aviation Brothers Ltd. is required to provide a reference by law/regulation (for example in relation to roles requiring particular security clearance), this will be on the basis of “legal requirements”.
- to third parties if Aviation Brothers Ltd. loses the Client account on which the Contractor is working, but the Contractor may be subject to a transfer to the new supplier under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (as such this is processing on the lawful basis of complying with “legal requirements”)
- to third party “app” or other online software provider(s) which facilitate the communication and/or provision of electronic contract information to Contractors on behalf of Aviation Brothers Ltd. Where such providers are used Aviation Brothers Ltd. contractually obliges these third parties to:
- treat all data securely;
- process them in accordance with the GDPR (or the EU’s approved standard model contracts or other approved basis, if the provider is outside of the EU);
- use the data only in relation to Aviation Brothers Ltd., and not sell or transfer personal information to any third parties.
Client Information
Aviation Brothers Ltd. may hold the following personal information about Clients
- name
- contact details (work address, telephone numbers and email)
How we obtain Client information
- It may be provided by the Client
- It may be provided by a Contractor or Candidate
- Third party websites, where a Client’s contact details have been posted
This information is held for the following purposes:
- to consider whether a client may wish to receive services from Aviation Brothers Ltd.;
- to manage the provision of services by Aviation Brothers Ltd. to the Client (or vice versa in the case of a supplier)
- to comply with regulatory requirements
Transfers of Client Information
Aviation Brothers Ltd. uses Client Information for its legitimate internal business purposes only – that is, to manage the provision of services pursuant to an actual or potential contract with the client.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. will only transfer Client Information for the following specific purposes, which are also lawful under Article 6 of the GDPR):
- to a Candidate or Contractor as is necessary for fulfilling the contractual obligations between Aviation Brothers Ltd., the Client and/or the Contractor/Candidate (the “contract” basis); or
- to the police, court or regulatory bodies (in accordance with the “legal requirement” basis for processing data under the GDPR) Customers.
Transfers of Employee Information
Aviation Brothers Ltd. uses most information for its internal purposes only – that is, to manage its rights and obligations in its employment relationship with you.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. may transfer Employee Information to the following entities for the following specific purposes, which are also lawful under Article 6 of the GDPR):
- to a third party provider or payroll services or employee benefits, in order to facilitate payment to the Employee. (in accordance with the “contract” basis for processing data under the GDPR)
- to the police, court or regulatory bodies (in accordance with the “legal requirement” basis for processing data under the GDPR)
- to third parties if we receive a request for a reference (where requested by you, this would be on the basis of “consent”, and where required by law this would be on the basis of “legal requirement”)
- to third parties in order to comply with TUPE obligations (Transfer of Undertakings, Protection of Employment), in the event that Aviation Brothers Ltd. loses a relevant contract, and your role is considered dedicated to such contract. Employee Information will be transferred to the incoming service provider due on the basis of meeting our “legal requirements”
- to third party “app” or other online software provider(s) which facilitate the communication and/or provision of personal testing of Employee on behalf of Aviation Brothers Ltd. Where such providers are used Aviation Brothers Ltd. contractually obliges these third parties to:
- treat all data securely;
- process them in accordance with the GDPR (or the EU’s approved standard model contracts or other approved basis, if the provider is outside of the EU);
- use the data only in relation to Aviation Brothers Ltd. and not sell or transfer personal information to any third parties.
Lawful Basis for Processing
GDPR Article 6 sets out the only basis on which processing of Personal Data is lawful.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. relies on the following lawful basis:
- Consent
Aviation Brothers Ltd. will always ask for explicit consent for two specific parts of the processing of “Candidate Information”
- Prior to putting forward a Candidate for a role; and
- In order to put Candidate details on Aviation Brothers Ltd. database.
You may withhold or withdraw your consent at any time, in accordance with the procedure set out in this privacy notice.
PLEASE NOTE: if you withhold or withdraw your consent, Candidate/Contractor Information will not be used or transferred for the purpose of searching for appropriate roles (that specific type of processing). However, the Personal Data held as part of Candidate or Contractor Information may still be stored and processed by Aviation Brothers Ltd., if and to the extent necessary to fulfil its other obligations (for example, in relation to legal claims or in relation to financial record keeping) – such further processing will be on one of the following basis.
- Contract
Where Aviation Brothers Ltd. is processing Personal Data in order to fulfil obligations under a contract with you, then this will be the lawful basis for such processing.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. has contracts with candidates, and Contractors (which may include the Contractor’s representatives/employers/companies). Aviation Brothers Ltd. will process Candidate and Contractor Information in order to fulfil our obligations under those contracts. That would include, for example, transferring Personal Data to a payroll company in order to ensure a Contractor is paid for the work they have done.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. has contracts with its clients. In order to fulfil our obligations to clients, we will need to pass certain Client Information to Candidates or Contractors (for example, the contact details of Human Resource staff for Candidate interviews, Shift/Line Managers to Contractors when the commence work, or Client Representatives for queries from Aviation Brothers Ltd. client relationship team) or to payroll (for example, contact details from the client’s finance department).
3) Legal Obligation
Aviation Brothers Ltd. will process Personal Data in order to comply with the law. This includes obligations to maintain accurate and historic financial records and /or respond to and manage legal claims or threats (in each case subject to relevant statutory limitation periods).
Aviation Brothers Ltd. will also transfer Contractor Information in order to comply with TUPE obligations (Transfer of Undertakings, Protection of Employment), in the event that Aviation Brothers Ltd. loses a relevant contract. Contractor Information will be transferred to the incoming service provider.
4) Legitimate Interests
Aviation Brothers Ltd. maintains a database of Candidate, Contractor and Client Information. It does not transfer or sell this information to any third parties, save in the instances set out above. However, it does hold this information, and may use it for searching for business opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE – As explained in relation to consent – no Candidate or Contractor Information will be transferred to third parties in relation to roles / opportunities without the Candidate or Contractor’s consent.
All database information will be held securely, and not kept for longer than is necessary.
Procedural and Technical Safety Measures
The personal information that we hold about you will be held secure in accordance with our security policy and as bound by the GDPR.
- All data subject data is stored on servers located within the EU only;
- All data subject data is encrypted;
- All data subject data is pseudonymised;
- All data subject data is backed up and easily recovered or restored to prevent permanent loss;
- No data subject data is ever transferred to a location which is not protected by the GDPR or regulation that has been recognised as equivalent to the GDPR;
- We have updated the terms of service and privacy policies for web users, customers, and clients;
- We have informed web users, customers, and clients of their new rights and obligations under the GDPR;
We will always obtain your consent first if we intend to transfer your information.
We will not divulge any information about you, without your express consent, to any person or company other than our own companies unless we are obligated by law to do so.
In order to ensure all Personal Data is held securely, Aviation Brothers Ltd. has the following procedural and technical safety measures:
- Access to our website (www.routeaviation.com) is controlled by secure login procedures. Access permissions are restricted and controlled. Usernames and passwords are to be uniquely assigned to named individuals and regularly changed to ensure protection.
- Our website is protected with Standard Secure Layer (SSL) Encryption Technology. Where external user access is provided to any part of our website we issue secure access passwords.
Privacy Policy for online training courses
We retain an electronic (only) record of your name and address, phone number, email address and courses that you have passed, together with certificate numbers. This enables
us to retrieve your details if you need a replacement certificate, or to verify a course certificate. Unless you ask us not to, we may send emails or mail with information about new courses, course promotions and courses due for renewal.
We will never give or sell the information we hold to any other person or organisation. If we receive a legal demand from a Bulgarian Government agency we will check that we have to comply, and if we advised that we must we will release the information after we have advised you that this has been demanded.
If we cease trading the database will be destroyed.
If ownership of the company changes an email will be sent to everyone on the database advising them of the change, before the database is transferred, and if you so request your name will be removed. However, in such an event, the new owner would be unable to verify a course certificate.
Part 4: USER OBLIGATIONS AND REPRESENTATIONS
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Policy. You promise that:
- you are of legal age to form a binding contract with Us;
- you will not use the Website in any way that violates any applicable local or international law or regulation;
- you will not send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with the ‘Content Standards’ (defined below);
- you will not impersonate or attempt to impersonate us, our employee, another user or any other person or entity;
- you will not do anything that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Website or interfere with any person’s use of the Website;
- you will not use any robot, spider or other automatic device, process or means to access the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of this Policy;

Part 8: ON-LINE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATES
All trainings are available for registered users only. Individual user registration is freely available to everyone.
All personal data of the registered ON-LINE TRAINING accounts are protected in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
User is responsible for compliance with any requirements for participants’ qualifications. The requirements for participation as set forth in the training programs shall apply. During the registration the user undertakes to provide only the correct and complete login details. The user is not allowed to sign in using not authentic information. We have the discretion to decide on the correctness, completeness and accuracy of the user login details. Should the user provide false, incomplete or inaccurate data, we have the right to immediately and without notice to the user, to deny his registration, and remove the user from the registration list.
The user is responsible for accurate data presentation/entry and the certificate issued on their basis.
Each course remains active in your Route Aviation e-account 12 months after the purchasing date and can be completed at a convenient time for you within this period.
There is a test at the end of each of the training presentations, after successful course completion, our system will send you automatically your own serial numbered and recorded Training Certificate direct to your e-mail in (pdf format). You can also find and download your certificate from your Route Aviation e-account at any time.
The certificates will be issued by Aviation Brothers Ltd. Our policy is to provide electronically signed certificates. Certificates carry a unique control number and are issued as PDF to print or store electronically. Any errors which are found in the certificates must be reported within 30 days of issue, such certificates will be replaced without charge regardless of the reason for the error.
Hard copy certificates can be provided for each training at a cost of 20 EUR – to cover printing in color and mail at Air Mail rates.
All certificates will be kept in our archive for a period of 2 years. The certificate will also be available in your profile for 24 months.
If you are unable to complete the On-line Training Course due to technical issues, the Course is cancelled/removed from the Site or the Course is not available for any other reason, you may be given a Training Course coupon for paid amount valid for 12 calendar months from the date of its issue. Please be informed, that Aviation Brothers Ltd. does not undertake to give such Training Course coupons upon your request, in case Aviation Brothers Ltd. sees an abuse regarding the issue discussed in this clause above. Moreover in such case we reserve the right at its sole discretion to remove your Account from the Site.
Part 9: PAYMENTS, FEES AND REFUND
You acknowledge and confirm that any and all fees and charges, if any, that are payable for our on-line training courses shall be paid to us in advance and are non-refundable (regardless of early termination or cancellation of the Registered User’s Account for any purpose and (or) reason whatsoever) unless otherwise agreed between you and Aviation Brothers Ltd. in writing.
Any fees payable for our on-line training courses are indicated on the Website. However you shall note that Aviation Brothers Ltd. reserves an unlimited right to change the fees at any time at its sole discretion. Any change, update, or modification shall be deemed effective immediately upon posting on the Website.
Our payments policy gives convenient payment options. The fees payable for the chosen Website services shall be paid using one of the following acceptable payments methods: direct payments with credit cards, debit cards and other payment methods on a website or mobile application or bank transfer.
In case of payment by credit card, debit card and other payment methods on a website or mobile application provided by our partners Central Cooperative Bank and BORICA AD, you are accepting their terms and conditions.
In case of payment by bank transfer, all and any bank charges and costs are on the account of user and all payments to Aviation Brothers Ltd. have to be made without any set off to Aviation Brothers Ltd.’ bank account.
For the avoidance of doubts, the parties agree that Aviation Brothers Ltd. shall not be held liable for the quality of the services provided by the respective service providers as well as all and any losses and damages incurred by the Users due to actions and (or) inactions of any of the third parties in relation to the aforementioned payments.
You will be held responsible for paying all fees in a timely manner with a payment method acceptable to the Website. All fees shall be made in EUR (euro) unless otherwise agreed between you and us on case by case basis.
A respective on-line training course may be started only after the full payment is received by us in a timely basis and after the purchase is completed properly the invoice may be sent to your e-mail upon your request.
Part 10: CANCELLATION POLICY
If the Client is a natural person and pursuant to Regulation 6 of European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts Made by Means of Distance Communication) Regulations, 2001, the Client benefits from a period of 7 working days in which to cancel the distance contract without giving a reason, and, if the Client exercises that right of cancellation, he or she shall not incur any charges or penalties for so doing. Subject to this provision, the 7 day period shall begin from the day the Client accepts these terms and conditions.
Unless there is agreement between Aviation Brothers Ltd. and the Client to the contrary, the Client may not exercise the right of cancellation referred to in this paragraph once the purchased training has been opened/started.
Aviation Brothers Ltd. reminds that this right does not apply to legal person.
Part 11: FORCE MAJEURE
Aviation Brothers Ltd. shall not be responsible for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances or for causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, riot, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, earthquake, accidents, strikes, lockouts, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor or materials. In the event of any such delay, we may be excused from such performance to the extent it is delayed or prevented by such cause and during all concerned period of time.
In case of force majeure exceeding two months, the contract between Route Aviation and the Client could be terminated unilaterally, without right to compensation for any of the two parties.
